Travelia was created because one of our founders wanted to better assist customers during their vacation for his tour operator - Ilios reizen. Of course, this is done with an app. Developing for one company is very expensive and complex. Therefore, we immediately started developing a Whitelabel app that is fully managed by Travelia (SaaS).

New ambitions IN 2025

After Gerbert & Rick built an impressive list of clients from 2016 to 2024, it was time to define new ambitions. Together with WestBound Travel (client) and 819 Capital (investment company), we got to work to expand our wings further within and outside the Netherlands. 819 Capital invests not only in Travelia but also in companies like Fox Reizen (formerly known as ANWB Reizen), Travelhome (exclusive partner of ANWB for developing and providing camper holidays), TravelC Group (€ 400 million turnover, 600 travel specialists).

After Gerbert & Rick built an impressive list of clients from 2016 to 2024, it was time to define new ambitions. Together with WestBound Travel (client) and 819 Capital (investment company), we set out to expand our wings further both within and outside the Netherlands. 819 Capital invests alongside Travelia in companies such as Fox Reizen (formerly known as ANWB Reizen), Travelhome (exclusive partner of ANWB for developing and providing camper holidays), TravelC Group (€ 400 million turnover, 600 travel specialists).
